The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Superoxide Dismutases (SOD). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Superoxide Dismutases (SOD). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Superoxide Dismutases (SOD), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Superoxide Dismutases (SOD) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

Alternative Names

Item Name

Superoxide Dismutases

Research Area

Reference

Protective effects of telmisartan and tempol on lipopolysaccharide-induced cognitive impairment, neuroinflammation, and amyloidogenesis: possible role of brain-derived neurotrophic factor;Protective effects of Telmisartan and tempol on lipopolysaccharide-induced cognitive impairment, neuro-inflammation and amyloidogenesis: possible role of brain derived neurotrophic factor;Melatonin balance the autophagy and apoptosis by regulating UCP2 in the LPS-induced cardiomyopathy;Epigallocatechingallate attenuates myocardial injury in a mouse model of heart failure through TGF‑β1/Smad3 signaling pathway;Chlorogenic Acid Attenuates Dextran Sodium Sulfate-Induced Ulcerative Colitis in Mice through MAPK/ERK/JNK Pathway;

ABCbiolab
96T / The minimum detectable dose of this kit is typically less than 0.060ng/mL / Mus musculus (Mouse)
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0590/5652/1400/products/74120318_padded_logo_35a67cec-fb47-4de9-ad29-49e5f4c641ba.png?v=1644863550
