A monoclonal antibody specific to Complement Component 3 (C3) has been pre-coated onto a microplate. A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between biotin labeled Complement Component 3 (C3) and unlabeled Complement Component 3 (C3) (Standards or samples) with the pre-coated antibody specific to Complement Component 3 (C3). After incubation the unbound conjugate is washed off. Next, avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. The amount of bound HRP conjugate is reverse proportional to the concentration of Complement Component 3 (C3) in the sample. After addition of the substrate solution, the intensity of color developed is reverse proportional to the concentration of Complement Component 3 (C3) in the sample.

Alternative Names

ASP; CPAMD1; Complement Protein C3; C3 and PZP-like alpha-2-macroglobulin domain-containing protein 1; C3a anaphylatoxin; Acylation stimulating protein

Item Name

Complement Component 3

Research Area

Signal transduction;Infection immunity;Immune molecule;

Reference

Oral administration of heat-inactivated Mycobacterium bovis reduces the response of farmed red deer to avian and bovine tuberculin;Comparative proteomics of milk fat globule membrane in goat colostrum and mature milk;The response of red deer to oral administration of heat-inactivated Mycobacterium bovis and challenge with a field strain.;

ABCbiolab
96T / The minimum detectable dose of this kit is typically less than 1.28ng/mL / Bos taurus; Bovine (Cattle)
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0590/5652/1400/products/74120318_padded_logo_dac88a44-5c62-49fe-893e-608c2d587629.png?v=1644865500
