The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Adrenomedullin (ADM). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Adrenomedullin (ADM). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Adrenomedullin (ADM), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Adrenomedullin (ADM) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

Alternative Names

AM; PAMP; Proadrenomedullin N-20 terminal peptide; ProAM N-terminal 20 peptide

Item Name

Adrenomedullin

Research Area

Endocrinology;Hormone metabolism;

Reference

Short-term hypoxia/reoxygenation activates the angiogenic pathway in rat caudate putamen.;Angiogenesis is VEGF-independent in the aged striatum of male rats exposed to acute hypoxia.;Composition and cardioprotective effects of Primula veris L. solid herbal extract in experimental chronic heart failure;

ABCbiolab
96T / The minimum detectable dose of this kit is typically less than 5.7pg/mL / Rattus norvegicus (Rat)
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0590/5652/1400/products/74120318_padded_logo_0fa30f4b-e340-4af3-b94b-c159ea284eb6.png?v=1644866566
