The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to UDP Glucuronosyltransferase 1 Family, Polypeptide A1 (UGT1A1). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to UDP Glucuronosyltransferase 1 Family, Polypeptide A1 (UGT1A1). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain UDP Glucuronosyltransferase 1 Family, Polypeptide A1 (UGT1A1), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of UDP Glucuronosyltransferase 1 Family, Polypeptide A1 (UGT1A1) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

Alternative Names

UGT1; GNT1; UGT1A; UDPGT; HUG-BR1; UGT1-1; Bilirubin-specific UDPGT isozyme 1; UDP-glucuronosyltransferase 1-1

Item Name

UDP Glucuronosyltransferase 1 Family, Polypeptide A1

Research Area

Enzyme & Kinase;

Reference

Apiaceous Vegetable Consumption Decreases PhIP-Induced DNA Adducts and Increases Methylated PhIP Metabolites in the Urine Metabolome in Rats;Apiaceous Vegetable Consumption Decreases PhIP-Induced DNA Adducts and Increases Methylated PhIP Metabolites in the Urine Metabolome in Rats1,2,5;Phenethyl isothiocyanate and indole-3-carbinol from cruciferous vegetables, but not furanocoumarins from apiaceous vegetables, reduced PhIP-induced DNA adducts in Wistar rats;Phenethyl isothiocyanate and indole-3-carbinol from cruciferous vegetables, but not furanocoumarins from apiaceous vegetables, reduced PhIP-induced DNA adducts in Wistar rats.;

ABCbiolab
96T / The minimum detectable dose of this kit is typically less than 0.61ng/mL / Rattus norvegicus (Rat)
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0590/5652/1400/products/74120318_padded_logo_de8d4763-e256-4717-966f-f4edc6438275.png?v=1644868874
