The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Estrogen Receptor Beta (ERb). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Estrogen Receptor Beta (ERb). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Estrogen Receptor Beta (ERb), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Estrogen Receptor Beta (ERb) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

Alternative Names

ER-B; ESRB; ESTRB; NR3A2; NR3-A2; ESR2; Estrogen Receptor 2; Nuclear Receptor Subfamily 3,Group A,Member 2

Item Name

Estrogen Receptor Beta

Research Area

Endocrinology;Reproductive science;Hormone metabolism;

Reference

Neuroprotective action of raloxifene against hypoxia-induced damage in mouse hippocampal cells depends on ERα but not ERβ or GPR30 signalling;Selective Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor Modulator 3,3′-Diindolylmethane Impairs AhR and ARNT Signaling and Protects Mouse Neuronal Cells Against Hypoxia;Neuroprotective action of raloxifene against hypoxia-induced damage in mouse hippocampal cells depends on ERα but not ERβ or GPR31 signalling;

ABCbiolab
96T / The minimum detectable dose of this kit is typically less than 0.115ng/mL / Mus musculus (Mouse)
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0590/5652/1400/products/74120318_padded_logo_262cb266-6622-4fac-bdd4-053321e69a7d.png?v=1644868488
