The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Farnesoid X Receptor (FXR). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Farnesoid X Receptor (FXR). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Farnesoid X Receptor (FXR), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Farnesoid X Receptor (FXR) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

Alternative Names

NR1H4; BAR; FXR; HRR1; RIP14; Nuclear Receptor Subfamily 1,Group H,Member 4; Bile acid receptor; Farnesol receptor HRR-1; Retinoid X receptor-interacting protein 14

Item Name

Farnesoid X Receptor

Research Area

Signal transduction;Metabolic pathway;Endocrinology;Hormone metabolism;

Reference

Raspberry pomace alters cecal microbial activity and reduces secondary bile acids in rats fed a high-fat diet.;

ABCbiolab
96T / The minimum detectable dose of this kit is typically less than 0.056ng/mL / Rattus norvegicus (Rat)
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0590/5652/1400/products/74120318_padded_logo_65079ea2-6d5c-4742-b37f-6b73b0508506.png?v=1644867943
